Good morning. Here is your morning update for Friday, June 2.

Weather

This morning will start off bright but there will be a risk of showers and thunderstorms. The afternoon will be humid and there are chances of hail and torrential downpours. Tonight will be mostly dry with the heaviest showers easing in the evening. The Met Office has issued a low level warning for Greater London. Torrential downpours may lead to localised surface flooding and drivers are told to be aware.

Traffic

Traffic is slow on the A12 into town in Gants Hill between Beehive Lane and Redbridge Roundabout.

On the M11 southbound between junction five in Loughton and junction four in Woodford expect minor delays.

Tube

Due to an earlier signal failure there are minor delays on the Jubilee Line.

There are severe delays on the Overground between Watford Junction and Euston, while there is a good service on the rest of the line.

All other lines have a good service.
