An artist is asking the public to pick its favourite design before she covers the side of a fishmongers with a colourful mural.
In participation with urban arts collective Wood Street Walls, Zarah Hussain is preparing to decorate an entire wall of a building next to Sea Catch Fish, in Walthamstow High Street.
Following on from the success of the William Morris Mural, this year’s Pick your Pattern project is giving the public a choice of four designs to choose between.
Option 1 is certainly vibrant!
The Walthamstow-based artist combines digital art with traditional hand-drawn Islamic geometric shapes to create work based on infinite repeating patterns.
This year’s project is also supported by Amal, an initiative which supports Muslim cultures and arts in the UK.
You have until June 19 to vote online via the Pick Your Pattern website, or in person by downloading and completing the Pick Your Pattern postcard.
Option 2 could brighten up the market
The postcard is also being delivered to thousands of Walthamstow addresses with the support of estate agent Stow Brothers.
Completed forms can be dropped off at The Mall shopping centre in Walthamstow.

Every person voting will also be entered into a prize draw to win £100 shopping vouchers at The Mall.
