A VANDAL is smashing car and van windows in “senseless” acts of criminal damage in a “quiet” road near a town centre.
Jodie Payze was walking down Hickman Avenue in Highams Park last night, when she came across the vandal’s handiwork.
At about 7pm, the sales assistant found not one but three smashed car and van windows.
The 24-year-old said she thought they might have been acts of “senseless violence” rather than someone trying to steal the vehicles, as others were left untouched.
She added: “I was shocked to see it on what I thought was a quiet street.”
The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for comment.
