Leyton Orient's issues seemed to have subsided slightly after Companies House discontinued their striking-off action against them.
A cause was shown as to why the east London club should not be struck off the register, with no further action required.
The club, owned by Italian Francesco Becchetti, have still yet to file their accounts, which were due on March 31. They are now nearly three months late.
The initial document, of the strike-off notice, was available to view on May 31 on the companies house website.
If they had not proved there was no reason to be struck off, due to the non-filling of the annual return and not submitting the necessary documentation, according to the register, the company would have now been deemed as defunct.
The company would be removed from the official Companies House register unless any objections are forthcoming and the Gazette gave the O's a three-month notice of that intent.
