A man from Waltham Forest was arrested on suspicion of terrorism last night – but not in connection with the London Bridge attacks.
Detectives from the Met Police’s counter terrorism command arrested the 33-year-old after a late night raid of a property in the borough.
A 34-year-old and 37-year-old were also arrested after late-night raids at two addresses in Newham.
They have been taken to a south London police station under the Terrorism Act, while the properties are still being searched.
