POLICE investigating the London Bridge terror attacks have arrested three men in Ilford.
After 10pm yesterday (Wednesday, June 7) armed officers from the Met Police’s counter terrorism command arrested a 27-year-old and 33-year-old man in a street in Ilford.
The first was arrested on suspicion of preparing acts of terrorism, the second on drug offences.
A 29-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of terror offences in the area after police raided his home.
All three are being held at a south London police station while officers continue to search the third man’s home and a business in Ilford.
Elsewhere in the investigation police have named the eight victim of last Saturday’s attack as 33-year-old French chef Sebastien Belanger.
