THE mother of a boy who will never grow up has hailed the “incredible” support she has been given.

Danielle Myers, from Ongar, is the mother to Dylan, who has a rare condition which means he is living in the body of a nine-month-old baby.

Dylan is six years old, but weighs only 10kg and is 80cm long. Mrs Myers was told when she was pregnant that Dylan’s organs were twisted at a 180 degree angle and he was not growing properly.

Eight weeks after he was born, he had a seizure.

His mum now treasures every “precious” moment with him.

The 38-year-old organises a fun day every year to raise money for charity. This year the money raised will go towards a building a sensory room for Dylan to live in.

Businesses and individuals have donated prizes to be won in a raffle held on the day. These include a night in the Corinthia Hotel in London, a gold iPad and a VIP ticket to see the Christmas Show at Wembley.

The family will also run an auction, and have been given a pair of Tony Bellew’s boxing gloves, a signed Tottenham ball, a signed West Ham shirt and a signed copy of David Walliams’ latest book.

Mrs Myers said: “It’s going to be amazing and the support I have had is incredible. People have been so generous with donating. My house is full of the prizes.

“Every year the fun day has grown. We have had lots of Towie support and celebrities are aware of this day. It’s amazing.

“If we raise enough for the sensory room, it will change his life. At the moment, he does everything in the lounge. It will mean he has his own living space and won’t be in a cot in my room. Every moment is precious with this child.”

There will be a bouncy castle, live music, a fun fair, food and refreshments at the fun day, which is held at Abridge village hall on Sunday, July 23.

Dylan’s father, Richard, is also tackling a bush tucker trial at the fun day. All the money raised will go towards Dylan’s sensory room.
