A MAN has come forward to "help police" after two women were put through an "utterly horrific" sexual assault on board a Central Line train.
British Transport Police released an image of a man they wanted to speak to in connection with the assault on two women.
On Friday, March 24, a man sat opposite his victim, a 48-year-old woman, and her friend on an eastbound train from Bank station at 11pm.
He then started making inappropriate comments towards them.
The man then placed his hand between the victim’s legs and began touching her inappropriate manner.
He removed his hand before repeating it and then tried to do the same to the victim’s friend.
The man left the service at Newbury Park.
A BTP spokesman confirmed a man has come forward to the help them with their investigation.
