BAKERS put their skills to good use to raise cash for a volunteer-led community hub.
The Great Millish Bake Off raised £380 for the Mill in Coppermill Lane, Walthamstow, on Saturday, June 24.
Organiser Jean Duggleby said: “I was surprised at the high quality of the entries.
“We had so many cakes that we took some to Branches homeless hostel for the homeless people.
“It was a very good event and we hope to do another one in the future.”
