Four fire engines were dispatched when a block of converted flats burst into flamed in Leytonstone.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at a property, a house that had been converted into flats, in Park Grove Road at around 5.30am this morning (Monday, July 3).
Crews from Leytonstone, Leyton, Stratford and Homerton stations had brought the fire under control by 7am.
All of the loft area of the building was damaged in the blaze. The cause of the incident is now under investigation.
