TEENAGE boys were sprayed with acid and one was left with a fractured skull by a group of men who tried to pick a fight.
The three victims were walking in Wanstead when they were confronted by the gang, who they tried to ignore.
But one of the suspects squirted a noxious substance from a sports bottle into their faces.
A number of the suspects then punched the three victims, two aged 17 and one aged 18, before they ran off.
Two of the victims were taken to hospital and the 18-year-old was the most severely injured.
While he has since been discharged from hospital, he was left with a fractured skull and still needs treatment to his right eye.
Police are now releasing CCTV footage showing one of the men they are looking for.
They have also released a video of a group of men near the scene, who they would like to speak to.
The attack happened at around 3am on June 17.
