Four men are being hunted by police after they failed to stop following a car crash on a country lane.
Police were called to Tysea Hill, in Stapleford Abbotts, at around 7pm last Wednesday (July 5).
A blue BMW Mini Cooper had collided with a black Audi A4, on a stretch of the road close to Stapleford Abbotts Golf Club.
Four men, who were described as being white and in their late-teens to early-twenties, abandoned the Mini Cooper they were travelling in and fled the incident on foot.
A search of the vehicle found that it was displaying false number plates and contained items of jewellery.
