A MAN was fined over £500 for being caught drink driving without a licence or insurance.
Police officers arrested Sean Seabrook, of Lynford Gardens, Goodmayes, just before 4am on June 3 in Southend.
The 25-year-old is one of 22 people convicted for drink and drug driving in Essex this summer, after more than 100 arrests were made across the county in June.
Essex Police’s casualty reduction manager Adam Pipe said: “Too many people are still drink or drug driving and its putting people’s lives at risk.
“No one wants to be associated with the fact they have been caught and convicted of these offences, so I hope that acts as a deterrent to anyone thinking about doing it.”
Seabrook was banned from driving for a year and a half, and ordered to pay £565, which included £280 for criminal damage.
