A crematorium presented a cheque for £7,950 to a bereavement centre.
Pardon Wood Crematorium handed the money to Michael Hall, the chairman of Cruse Bereavement Care Epping Forest.
The scheme supports bereaved children, young people and adults in the area.
Richard Walters, vice chairman, said: “This amazing donation from Parndon Wood has taken our breath away – we are so very grateful for the donation which will allow us to enhance and develop our service to the local community”.
