A CONVOY of travellers have moved up the road after a brief stint at a sports field.
The group of about 20 caravans and motorhomes are now occupying a field behind Low Hall Sainsbury's, in Walthamstow Avenue, Chingford.
It comes after a stint in the field next to Peter May Sports Centre forced organisers of a park run to cancel their weekly event.
This is the third camp set up in the area in the space of 12 days, and follows a “violent” break-in at a field in Sewardstone Road, Chingford, a week before.
