We have made it to Wednesday, but before you can start thinking of weekend plans there's some heavy traffic to negotiate on the roads this morning.
Here is everything you need to know about traffic, travel and weather in Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Epping Forest today:
Traffic
Traffic is moving very slowly on the A406 North Circular Road southbound at the junction with the A12 at Redbridge Roundabout.
Around eight minutes are being added to driver’s journeys by the usual long tailbacks on the M11 southbound just before Junction 4 for Woodford and the A406.
Travel
A good service is running on almost all lines on the London Underground and Overground network this morning.
However, if you need to head to west London today, watch out for the Piccadilly line- there are severe delays between Acton Town and Uxbridge and minor delays on the rest of the line eastbound due to a shortage of trains.
Weather
Expect today to be wet early on, with persistent rain forecast from around 10am this morning until mid-afternoon.
Things should brighten up a little as we move into the evening. Expect high temperatures of around 18 or 19 degrees Celsius.
