Police have released more images of motorbike riders caught on camera driving dangerously in Epping Forest.

Bikes have been captured on road safety cameras speeding, performing stunts including wheelies and driving dangerously in Epping and Chipping Ongar.

One rider officers want to trace set off a camera in High Road, Epping, at 9.57pm on July 15.

Another bike was snapped in High Street, Chipping Ongar at 12.12am on July 18, with a pillion passenger appearing to be taking photographs while riding.

Adam Pipe, Casualty Reduction Manager at Essex Police, said: “This kind of riding is dangerous and reckless.

“The way these motorbikes are being ridden presents a danger, not only to the riders, but to pedestrians and other road users.

“In some cases the riders are not wearing protective clothing meaning that should they have a crash, they risk suffering serious injuries.

“This type of riding is unacceptable and has no place on our roads. We will do everything we can to stamp it out.”

Earlier today, police had launched another appeal to track down another nuisance motorbike rider driving dangerously across Epping Forest.

Witnesses have reported a white dirt bike carrying out wheelies and other stunts on the road in traffic, as well as running through red lights at pedestrian crossings in Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell and Loughton.
