Reports of a young girl being mauled by a dog have emerged after paramedics rushed to an incident yesterday evening.
One person was treated for injuries after the incident in Lascelles Close of Cathall Road shortly before 8pm on Thursday (July 27).
An air ambulance landed outside the nearby Leytonstone Leisure Centre.
A spokesman for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7:59pm yesterday (July 27) to reports of an incident at an address in Leytonstone.
"We sent a paramedic in a car and an ambulance crew to the scene. London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took them as a priority to a hospital in east London.”
