Volunteers are getting stuck in to help improve the wildlife and health of our ponds.
Over this year and the next, a team from The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) will be knee-deep in ponds across Leytonstone and Walthamstow.

The TCV team will be carrying out practical pond and habitat improvement works to make the borough’s natural areas more wildlife friendly.
Alongside this, the team will deliver delivering a community and schools outreach programme, outdoor learning classes and family fun events.
