A TEENAGER disappeared after getting into a mysterious car last week.
Katherine Mateus was last seen outside her home in Gladding Road, Manor Park near Wanstead Flats on Thursday (August 17).
The 16-year-old was spotted getting into a red Citroen C3 with the registration number DL17HKK at 2pm. She has not been seen since.
A police investigation found the car was driven to Telford in the West Midlands later that day.
Officers are increasingly worried about her and are desperate for anyone with any information on her whereabouts to get in touch.
She is black, 5ft 4in, of medium build, with black hair. She was last seen wearing white trousers and a black top with a black and white checked shirt underneath.
