BUSINESSES are displaying “astonishing” Lego models for an art festival.
A dozen shops down Wanstead High Street have bedecked their stores with Lego models for the Art Trail, which runs from September 9 to 24.
Models range from “Elton John-style” glasses to cacti.
Greg Etkin, owner of Wanstead Opticians, described the glasses as “absolutely stunning and quirky”.
Children who manage to spot all Lego art around town will receive special prizes at a free workshop run by the London Adult Fans of Lego (AFOL) on Sunday, September 17.
Attendees will also be able to build their own models.
