A comedy club will host a Labour spin doctor turned standup comedian at an event next month.

Ayesha Hazarikah, former advisor to Ed Miliband and Harriet Harman, will be at The Rose and Crown Pub, Hoe Street, Walthamstow on Thursday October 5.

Ms Hazarikah’s show, State of the Nation, will focus on what’s next for British politics and will include a Q and A session with Walthamstow MP Stella Creasy.

Since leaving her career as a political advisor, the comedian has been a regular commentator on Newsnight, Good Morning Britain and The Andrew Marr Show, among others.

The event which starts at 8.30pm is hosted by Walthamstow-based Red Imp Comedy Club.
