VINTAGE citizens’ contribution to society will be celebrated by a series of activities.
Redbridge Council is marking UK Older People’s Day with a week of events commemorating their achievements and raising awareness about their needs.
The events will take place from October 1 to 6. International Day of Older Persons is on October 1.
Thai Food demonstration, poetry classes and a petting zoo are just three of the events lined up.
