Actress Vicki Michelle will be on hand to open a hospice’s new charity boutique this weekend.

The ‘Allo ‘Allo star, who is a patron of Woodford Green-based Haven House, will open the hospice’s new charity store in Loughton High Road on Saturday September 30 at 11am.

The boutique is the fourth charity shop the hospice has opened after locations in Epping High Street, Chingford Mount, Leytonstone and Romford.

Matt Lord, Head of Retail at Haven House, said: “We are delighted that our Patron, Vicki Michelle, will officially open our brand new charity boutique in Loughton.

“We have wanted to open a shop in Loughton for many years and we hope our boutique will be a wonderful addition to the High Road.

“We are urging residents to donate their pre-loved goods to the boutique and to volunteer.

“People really do love an upmarket bargain and the boutique will have a treasure trove of desirable clothing and homeware that you won’t find anywhere else.

“It’s the perfect way to pick up a bargain and to support life-limited children and their families in the area.”

Haven House opened in 2003 and provides care for children and young people suffering from life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.
