Police are appealing for information after a driver caused a motorway crash before fleeing the scene.
Officers say a vehicle collided with a silver Nissan Qashqai on the M11 motorway near Epping on Friday morning (September 29) at around 5.05am.
The crash caused the Qashqai to skid across the carriageway and hit a blue Vauxhall Insignia.
Both the Nissan and the Vauxhall spun off the road, while the initial vehicle that sparked the collision failed to stop at the scene.
The Qashqai came to rest on its side and the Insignia came to rest facing the wrong way on a grass verge.
No-one was seriously injured in the incident.
