Fire crews were called to an office after a blaze broke out on the building’s fascia.
Firefighters were dispatched to an office building in High Road, Chigwell, at around 10.30am this morning (Tuesday, October 3), to respond to reports of a blaze.
On arrival, crews said a section of the building’s fascia was alright and the property itself had become smoke logged.
Essex Fire and Rescue crews from Loughton and Waltham Abbey stations, as well as a London Fire Brigade crew from Hainault, were able to extinguish the fire by 11am.
No one was injured during the incident, but the building suffered smoke damage. The cause of the blaze was recorded as accidental.
