Local Democracy week Question Time style debate at Wanstead High School
STUDENTS will grill councillors over issues affecting them in Question Time style formats for Local Democracy Week.
Redbridge Council is uniting politicians of today and the future for the week spanning October 9 to 15 to bring the community closer together.
Questioners from five secondary schools will quiz councillors from all three major political parties on topics chosen by them for an hour.
An all-female line up will also address an all-female audience at the Orchard Children’s Centre and AWAAZ Group about how they entered local government.
