CCTV images have been released of two potential rogue traders police want to identify after an elderly man was targeted in distraction burglaries.

The pensioner was first visited at his home in Grosvenor Drive at around 11.30am on July 7 this year.

A man approached the victim, claiming to be a builder and saying repair work needed to be done to the roof of the property.

The man was paid a three-figure sum to do the work but never returned.

It is also believed another four-figure sum was taken from inside the property when someone entered the home to use the toilet.

Police are also looking to trace a second man who visited the same property weeks later on August 1.

During the incident, two men claimed to be window cleaners but left the area when they were challenged.
