Bankers and firefighters were just some of the people on hand to discuss career paths with students at Kelmscott School this week.
A careers fair was held for the youngsters to meet employers and training providers at the school in Markhouse Road, Walthamstow on Tuesday October 17.
Representatives from Leyton Orient Trust, London Fire Brigade and sixth-form colleges in east London were among those who held stalls.
Head girl Maryum Ahmeds said: “I found the careers fair very helpful as I found out more about colleges and courses which provided me with more insight into what they require and what I need to do to be accepted.”
Student Samuel Lewis added: “It informed me of my future decisions and I got great inspirational advice.”
