A “WEATHER bomb” is set to batter Britain tonight with gusts of up to 70 miles per hour.
The Met Office has issued a yellow wind warning about Storm Brian, which is due to hit southern, western and central England in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Heavy rain and gusts of 50mph are expected to hit southern England, while winds could reach up to 70mph in coastal areas.
Storm Brian is the second named storm of the season. Storm Aileen which hit the UK on September 12 and 13.
