SUPPORTERS of a charity are needed more than ever to help it through tough times, a TV reality star has claimed.
Lydia Bright, formerly of ITV’S The Only Way is Essex, urged residents to back “lifeline” ELHAP, a charity based in Woodford Bridge, following an art workshop on Friday, October 20.
Disabled children, young kids and adults from east London created greetings cards which will go on sale from mid-November.
Ms Bright said: “In these tough times, front line organisations like ELHAP just won’t survive unless the local community rallies round. ELHAP desperately needs funds and volunteers. They are a lifeline to local families and we all need to step in to help.”
ELHAP works with more than 600 servicce users and receives more than 8,000 visits per year.
