MORE THAN 800 people in Redbridge were caught ducking TV licence payments over the last year, according to new data.
A total of 806 evaders were caught illicitly watching live television or BBC iPlayer from July 2016 to July 2017 in the borough, according to TV Licensing.
Neighbouring boroughs contained higher numbers of evaders.
Barking and Dagenham had the third highest number of offenders with 1,660 people caught without a licence.
Waltham Forest had 1,088 evaders and Newham had 1,412, putting them both in the top ten worst boroughs.
Enfield had the highest number of evaders, with 2,246 people caught over the same period.
More than 28,000 evaders were caught across 32 London boroughs.
