Youngsters on their half-term school break are promised a “frightfully fun” day at a public farm’s Halloween festival.
Lee Valley Park Farms in Stubbins Hall Lane, Waltham Abbey is holding a week long ‘Mischief and Mayhem’ event to celebrate Halloween.
The event which features a Trick or Treat trail, pumpkin patch and haunted house will be the last time children can visit the animals before the farm shuts its gates later this month for the winter season.
James Broomfield, Lee Valley Park Farms Manager, said: “We love Halloween at Lee Valley Park Farms and can’t wait to show our visitors the ghoulish treats we have instore.
“There will be lots of exciting activities on offer to keep families busy and entertained.
“We’ve had a very busy season this year. In addition to celebrating our 40th birthday, we’ve also welcomed new attractions such as the Dino Dig and Splash area and fascinating creatures to our growing family.”
