MEMBERS of the community who are poorly are being urged not to ask for antibiotics from their doctors.
Redbridge Council has partnered with Public Health England and local CCGs to urge people to reduce and tackle antibiotic resistance in aid of World Antibiotic Awareness Week.
Overuse and misuse of antibiotics have been identified as causes of antibiotic resistance.
Community members can become antibiotic guardians and explain how they will stop vital medication becoming redundant.

World Antibiotic Awareness Week runs from Monday, November 13 to November 19.
