A meal was served and guests listened to a speech by Inspector Alyn Crowley of Chingford Police about the importance of strong relations between different faiths.
Representatives from Waltham Forest’s Hindu and Baha’i communities also gave speeches.
Human Relief Foundation sponsored the event to coincide with the college’s Interfaith Week celebrations.
Councillor for Hale End and Highams Park Paul Braham hosted the quiz which saw the Mayor of Waltham Forest Cllr Yemi Osho and her team crowned champions.
“The speakers all had such inspiring, interesting and passionate thoughts and words to share and I think everyone will already be looking forward to next year's dinner,” said one of the guests.
