Police say they are “increasingly concerned” for the wellbeing of a missing Algerian woman who was captured on CCTV with an unknown man.

Aicha Boukourbane visited Walthamstow in early October where she met with relatives in Wood Street.

The 25-year-old was spotted with an unknown man outside Liverpool Street Station between 1.20pm and 1.40pm on Sunday, October 8.

Police say they “urgently” wish to trace the man, who is not known to her family or friends, to see if he can shed some light on Aicha’s whereabouts.

East London and West Essex Guardian Series:

She was last seen in Paris on October 24 where she told a relative she planned to return to London.

However her family have had no further contact from her which is out of character they say.

Aicha is described as an Arab female of Algerian heritage, approximately 5 feet 7inches tall, of medium build with dark hair.

At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a black long sleeved lace top, blue jeans with rips at the knees, silver shoes and carrying a white and grey shoulder bag with a bright pink travel pillow attached to it.

East London and West Essex Guardian Series:

The man who is believed to be aged in his twenties is of stocky build, with a trimmed beard and has olive skin.

He was seen on CCTV wearing a black cap, green/khaki coloured jacket, a black Nike t-shirt with white writing, and light coloured trousers.

Aicha has limited English and little knowledge of London but has links to the Walthamstow and Elephant and Castle areas.

Anyone with information about Aicha’s whereabouts, or the identity of the man she was with, should call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000.
