Smoke from a fire in an industrial estate is billowing for miles across the skyline of north and east London this morning.
Twelve fire engines and 81 firefighters are at the scene in East Duck Lees Lane in Ponders End, Enfield after the alarm was raised at around 9.15am on Thursday, November 23.
Thick black smoke can be seen by residents over five miles away in Walthamstow.

Half of the ground floor, first floor and roof of a warehouse are alight.

Fire crews from Enfield, Chingford, Edmonton, Woodford, Tottenham, Southgate and other neighbouring fire stations are in attendance.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
