Person dies after being hit by train
A person has died after being hit by a train in Stratford station shortly after 11.30am today (Friday, December 8).
Police and paramedics attended and the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and police are working to establish the identity of the deceased.
A file will be prepared for the coroner.
The incident has caused delays on the Central Line across east London.
