Communities face rubbish collection delays due to bank holidays
RUBBISH collection dates face disruption due to bank holidays.
Redbridge Council has reminded communities across the borough that they face slight delays at the end of this year and start of 2018 due to Christmas, Boxing Day and new year’s day.
Collection dates affected stretch from Monday, December 25 to Friday, January 12.
From Christmas Day to Friday, January 5, rubbish will be collected two days later than usual. For example, rubbish usually collected on Tuesday will be picked up on Thursday.
From Monday, January 8 to Friday, January 12, rubbish will be collected a day later than usual.
Collections return to normal thereafter.
