A “FANTASTIC” organisation helping victims of domestic and sexual violence has bagged a cash boost.
Aanchal Women’s Aid in Redbridge received £500 from Essex and Suffolk Water Community Fund’s 2017/18 round of grants.
The money will go towards rebuilding the lives of women who have suffered domestic or sexual violence.
Michael Page, external communications consultant for Essex and Suffolk Water said: “We are very proud to have awarded grants to seven fantastic organisations and I hope that this support will give them a real boost to help them continue their inspiring and much needed work."
Nearly £9,000 worth of grants were given to charities in Essex, Suffolk and east London.
Essex and Suffolk Water started the community fund in partnership with Essex Community Foundation (ECF) in 2003.
