Thieves crashed into a driver’s car before stealing his vehicle at knifepoint.
The victim was driving in High Road, Buckhurst Hill, at around 9.45pm on Wednesday (December 13) when the incident took place.
A white Ford Transit van hit the black Volkswagen Golf the man had been driving.
A man then got out of the suspect’s vehicle and threatened the victim with a knife. The victim ran off and his car was then stolen and driven in the direction of Danbury Road.
The suspect who got out of the van is described as mixed race, aged in his 20s, of a slim build and around 5ft 9ins.
He wore a charcoal coloured Nike camo hoody and grey jogging bottoms. There is no description of the driver.
