Two men have been charged with burglary after the keys to luxury cars, expensive watches and jewellery were taken from a home.
Ricky Lambert, 30, of Lillechurch Road, Dagenham, and Alec Deeble, 26, of no fixed address, appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Thursday,.
The pair were arrested at Southend Airport on Sunday, January 7, after one of them had just returned back to the UK following a weekend trip.
The charges related to a burglary at a house in Hainault Road, Chigwell, on Friday, January 5.
Police say items worth tens of thousands of pounds were taken in the raid.
Mr Lambert and Mr Deeble will next appear at Basildon Crown Court on Friday, February 2.
