Looking to grow your gardening skills this year?
Accredited gardening courses will begin in Walthamstow’s Lloyd Park next month offering nature enthusiasts the chance to gain a Level 1 award from City & Guilds.
The London-based organisation which offers vocational training and apprenticeship courses will run seven-week courses in the spring and summer taught by a tutor from the Waltham Forest Adult Learning Service.
Whether you want to learn more about plants in your garden or allotment or pursue a career in horticulture, the classes will give you a chance to learn something new.
Discounts are available for those on benefits and low income.
The spring course will begin on February 21 and sessions will be held every Wednesday from 9.15am to 2.45pm.
