A RESTAURANT owner has reassured diners that her beloved business is not closing.
June Robins, owner of Robin’s Pie and Mash shop in High Street, Wanstead, said the business is being expanded to accommodate more customers.
The shop is currently surrounded by building materials and has had its name torn down.
Ms Robins said: “It’s being refurbished on the inside and getting an extension on the outside. It will be done in a conservatory style. I have had a banner made saying we are opening soon.
“Lots of people have called me asking if the shop’s closing. We will open in around two weeks.”
The outside eating area will have six more tables and chairs when work is finished.
