DRIVERS across east London have had their journeys ruined by falling debris.
Traffic across Waltham Forest and Redbridge has been disrupted by Storm Fionn.
Storm Fionn wreaked havoc in Blake Hall Road, Wanstead, after a fallen tree blocked both traffic in both directions.
The beech tree, which fell at the junction with Tennyson Avenue, was described as “rotten” by a tree surgeon.
Workmen blocked off the road while the chipped the tree down.
In Waltham Forest, a tree blocked Forest View and Station Road after being knocked down by strong winds.
Elsewhere in the borough, fallen trees caused disruption at the junction of Bury Road and Ragers Road, Madeira Road, Brindwood Road, Manor Road, Upper Walthamstow Road and Ferndale Road.
