Police have named and shamed a drink driver who had his licence stripped during a Christmas crackdown.
Gurwinder Singh, was pulled over and arrested by police at 5.45am on December 30 in Roding Gardens, Loughton after being found to be over the drink-drive limit.
The 45-year-old, of The Sidings, Loughton, was disqualified from driving for 15 months, fined £120, and ordered to pay £45 in court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
The conviction came as part of a countywide campaign by Essex Police aiming to tackle drink and drug driving over the Christmas period.
The scheme, which is running between December 1 and January 1, has so far seen more than 70 people arrested.
The force is releasing the names and photographs of anyone convicted under during the campaign in the hopes it will act as a deterrent to anyone considering getting behind the wheel while drunk.
