Man fighting for his life after crashing car into lamppost
A man in his 30s is fighting for his life after crashing his car into a lamppost.
The crash happened as the man was travelling west bound along the A12 near the Leytonstone junction in a black Ford Focus shortly before 5am on Sunday.
Police, firefighters and paramedics attended and the man was taken to an east London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Officers are in the process of informing his next of kin.
No arrests have been made.
