The Co-op is set to open a new store in Walthamstow next month, providing 21 full and part-time jobs.
The shop in Troubridge Square will replace its previous store in Wood Street following a £750,000 investment and will include an in-store bakery, hot food counter, Costa Coffee machine and self-service tills.
Co-op members will receive a 5 per cent reward on own-branded products and services, with a further 1 per cent going to community groups, and students will receive a 10 per cent discount on their shopping.
Roy Muir of Co-op store manager said: “We are delighted to have undertaken such a significant investment in Walthamstow and are very proud to be part of this community.”
