The good news is you have made it to the end of another gloomy February workday.

The bad news, it is going to take a while to get back home.

The Tube is looking slow and the traffic flow is sticky.

Here is some of what you need to know.

Traffic

Severe delays of 20 minutes are being experiencedon the A12 eastbound between High Street Epping and Harrier Avenue.

Vehicles passing along Lea Bridge Road in the northbound direction between A104 and A104 have been slowed to five mph.

Top speeds of five mph are also being experience on Romford Road going east around Manor Park.

On the A406, delays of seven minutes between Sterling Way and Walthamstow Avenue are to be expected.

Tube

Thankfully for those heading east, a good service is operating on the Central Line.

Severe delays are being experience on the Circle, District and Hammersmith and City lines however, with minor disruption on London Overground and Metropolitan Lines.

Weather

A touch of drizzle in the early evening should be blown away by faily stiff breezes, welcoming in an overcast but largely dry night. Temperatures will drop to four or five degrees Celsius in the early hours.
