Two more drink drivers have been banned after they were caught out by police during a Christmas clampdown.
Serghei Neaga was pulled over by officers at around 12.30am on December 17 in River Road, Buckhurst Hill.
The 31-year-old, of Dacre Gardens, Chigwell, was disqualified from driving for 16 months, fined £416, and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £41 victim surcharge for failing to provide a specimen.
Terry Parker was arrested at 4.06am on December 17 on the A414.
The 37-year-old, of Blenheim Square, North Weald, was disqualified for 18 months, fined £573, and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £57 victim surcharge for drink driving.
The convictions came as part of a countywide campaign by Essex Police aiming to tackle drink and drug driving over the Christmas period.
The scheme, which ran between December 1 and January 1, saw almost 150 people arrested across Essex.
The force is releasing the names and photographs of anyone convicted under during the campaign in the hopes it will act as a deterrent to anyone considering getting behind the wheel while drunk.
